Beautiful Day ........ for Stamping

 Hi Everyone!

Luckily I had a chance to finally have a play with the new Brusho colours in the 2018 Occasions Catalogue (You can see an online copy here).

I love messy inky techniques so I was so excited when Stampin' Up! included these products!  I will be loading a video onto my You Tube channel in a few days of the techniques used to create the elements on the card, but for now pictures will have to do!

Have you tried stamping with watered down ink? To create these splotches on the card I put one drop of re-inker onto one of my clear stamp blocks (of course your could swipe your ink pad on a clear block also) then added a couple of drops of water to it.  Then I dipped my stamp in it and stamped it on my card.  It creates a great water colour stamping effect!

I sort of didn't plan where I was going to put my greeting and then it wouldn't really fit, no matter I actually quite like it when things hang out the side of my cards!

Three times......yes 3 times it took me too get my gold thread the way I wanted it.  Yes I did remove the butterfly from the card 2 times and underneath it looks like it has been chewed by our dog, but no matter you can't tell and I am happy with the thread now!

And the finished product!  There is something about this colour combination that says summer and cocktails!  Thanks for taking the time to come and read this post! Of course if you would like to create this project yourself you can shop with me at the link at the top of this page for the products!
