Irresistible Blooms

There is something fresh about a black and white colour palette with a splash of colour!   In this project it is Highland Heather! I can never seem to just make one card when I am creating it is usually 2 or more, because I have all of the supplies out that match!

To make it even easier I have used the Memories and More Card and Envelopes #159234 so I can get stuck into creating!

For the first card I used the cardbase in the portait orientation. The first layer is some DSP (Designer Series Paper) from the Delightfully Eclectic Pack # 161640 cut at 7cm x 7cm.  This is a fantastic pack of patterned paper as there are so many designs and colour combinations it is really versitile!

Other than that I have used minimal cardstock, just some Highland Heather punched out with the Decorative Circle punch # 159174 tucked under the edge.

The flowers and leaves are from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set #161140, and guess what?? You won't find this set in the catalogue! It is from the Online Exclusives that Stampin' Up! release throughout the year, you can see what is available here!

Simply stamp the flowers and leaves on some basic white cardstock #159228 with our memento ink # 132708 and use your favourite Blends colours! I have used the following in both the dark and light pens and blended together!

Flowers - Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight
Leaves - Granny Apple Green

Once you have all of these elements, simply position and layer with Stampin' Dimensionals #104430 and Stampin' Seal #152813 adhesives.

To finish off the design, add some linen thread #104199and Iridescent Pearls # 158987

This second card uses all the same products and techniques, but I have changed the orientation of the card to landscape.  The only difference in the measurement is the DSP which is 14cm x 6cm.

I hope you enjoy these card designs and have a go at some of these techniques yourself!

Happy Stamping

Tania!
